Don oversees the firm’s investment policy and proprietary research and ensures the highest level of practice management service standards. Don has helped families and foundations protect, grow, and share wealth for the past 25 years. Don provides multi-generational financial guidance to members of family-owned businesses, counsels medical professionals in their most critical investment decisions from residency through retirement, and manages Foundation and Corporate Pension Plans with disciplined risk adjusted investment strategies. Prior to founding FlatFeeCIO, Don has held Vice President positions at Bank of America Investments and SunTrust Investment Services and was Wealth Management Advisor at First South Bank.
Don holds an MBA from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University and earned a BA at Duke University.
Don is a member of Brook Valley Country Club and attends First Presbyterian Church in Greenville with his wife Ashley and daughter Genevieve.
